Audra and Kate's Story

Kate was born and raised in Murray KY. After college she moved with her Husband for his job, but still had a longing to be back in her favorite small town. Fast forward a few years and Kate and her family made the move back to Murray KY, where she met her friend Audra and future business partner. Kate is married to Sam, and has two precious little girls, that can from time to time be seen playing at “Mommy’s store.” Kate has always had a passion for creativity, and loves bringing that passion to Intuition, whether its painting furniture and artwork, displaying, or helping to find new treasures for the store. Kate loves all of the many beauties in the store, but her favorite spot in the store is their area designated for “little ones.” She loves finding sweet items for your precious little ones!

Audra was born and raised in Marion KY. After high school she married her high school sweetheart who was serving in the US Navy and moved to be with him. After serving 21 years, he retired, and they decided to make Murray their home. Audra has always had a passion for design, remodeling and making old things feel new again. After Audra’s three children were grown, she decided to follow a lifelong dream of owning her own business. Audra met Kate and they quickly learned they shared the same passions and work ethic. A sweet friendship was formed, and they decided to pursue their dream together. Audra has three wonderful children, Matt and his wife Christen, Kayli and her husband Daniel, and Austin and his wife, Elizabeth. Audra has always loved traveling to find treasures at Flea Markets & Antique Stores. She can usually be found at Intuition with a paint brush in her hand and a design in her mind.
